2026 Spring Baseball

Your Little League currently offers the following programs:

Please note that some ages overlap over multiple programs. When registering, please choose the program you feel is the best fit for your athlete. PCLL reserves the right to adjust any player at any level for safety reasons as well as to best accommodate the most athletes.

Tee Ball (Rookie League)
This program is for players ages 4 to 6 years old just learning the game. Tee Ball utilizes an adjustable batting tee for hitting. The program runs from April through mid-June with games beginning in May. This program features structured learning with 1-2 practices per week until games begin and 1-2 games per week thereafter. There are no practices after games begin. Over the course of the season, coaches and players will engage in a series of lessons utilizing activities that include skills, drills and plenty of physical activity. All players participate, no score is kept and outs are not called.

Coach Pitch (Farm League)
This program focuses on skills essential for building a solid foundation for the game of baseball while having fun. It is intended for players ages 6-7 years old who are ready to hit a moving ball. Little League rules are modified to promote skill development. Coaches are allowed on the field and pitch to their own teams. We do not keep score or strike count at this level and kids are given as many as 9 to 10 pitches to hit. The season runs from April through June with games beginning in May. The season generally consists of 2 practices per week at the start of the season, with 2 games per week when season play begins.

Kid Pitch Levels:
The following levels require players to attend an Assessment Day; Sunday February 22. Coaches will determine the level of team each player is on. Please register for what you think is the best fit while understanding the actual level may change after Assessments.

A Minor League
This is a "modified kid pitch" program. Players entering A should be able to defend themselves from a thrown ball. The Single A Division plays a full baseball game - outs are recorded, score is kept, and we crown "champions" at the end of the season. The program includes one practice on a weeknight, one game on a weeknight, and one game on Saturdays. Games are played with 50' base paths and 40' pitching distances. The division plays a "no walks" rule set that incorporates a coach pitching after four balls are thrown to a batter. Players in this Division are typically aged between 7-9 years old and want to experience a more competitive game than our Coach Pitch division, but are not yet ready for the full AA Division.

AA Minor League
This league is designed for players ages 8-10 years old and first or second year of kid-pitch baseball. Practices will begin shortly after Assessment Day with games beginning in early April and running through mid-June. Play throughout the season is kid-pitch (kids pitching to kids), culminating with a league tournament to end the season. Expect 2-3 practices or games per week. Little League rules are followed including pitch counts and playing time requirements. AA Minor League teams play between 12 and 18 games and may travel to other metro area sites for inter-league play. 12 year olds may not pitch at this level.

AAA Minor League
This league is designed for players ages 9-12 years old with at least 1 to 2 years of kid-pitch baseball experience. Practices will begin shortly after Assessment Day with games beginning in early April and running through mid-June. Expect 2-3 practices or games per week. Play throughout the season is kid-pitch, culminating with a league tournament to end the season. Little League rules are followed including pitch counts and playing time requirements. AAA Minor League teams play between 12 and 18 games and may travel to other metro area sites for inter-league play. 12 year olds may not pitch at this level.

Major League
Play at this level generally consists of 10-12 year old players. Practices will begin shortly after Assessment Day with games beginning in early April and running through mid-June. Expect 3-4 practices or games per week. Play throughout the season is kid-pitch, culminating with a league tournament to end the season. Little League rules are followed including pitch counts and playing time requirements. Major League teams play between 15 and 20 games and may travel to other metro area sites for inter-league play. Players from this division are eligible to play on the All-Star team that competes through July in Colorado District 5 Little League Baseball (depending on number of players registered).

***Please note that PCLL reserves the right to move players from one level to another for safety reasons as well as to accommodate the most players depending on interest at each level. This is done at the coach's discretion.
