PCLL Activities Suspended Until April 6th.

Hello PCLL Community,

In accordance with Little League International recommendations, Platte Canyon Little League is suspending all baseball operations effective immediately and at least until April 6.  In addition, all PCLL properties are closed and should not be used for any purpose.

“While each community is being affected differently by the coronavirus, the Little League International Board of Directors and staff feel that it is in the best interest of our volunteers and participant families to delay the implementation of the Little League season to begin no earlier than April 6. We strongly encourage you to seek the counsel of your community municipalities, public health departments, and local school districts.”

This suspension of activity is consistent with action by the Colorado High School Athletic Association and other area youth sports leagues, which have similarly suspended activities.

All practices, meetings and events are canceled until at least April 6.

Hopefully we can resume activities in April. At the time that we determine a new start date, we will also reset the beginning and end of the season.  We are working with KCLL for Minors and Majors to come up with a solution that best works for our families.

Registration for Coach Pitch and Tee Ball will remain open until March 31st.  Teams will be determined and coaches will be in touch with their players via phone and/or email toward the end of March.  The PCLL Board will work to determine the best schedule moving forward for these levels.

In the meantime, we encourage you to grab your glove and a baseball and play catch at home with family members.

We appreciate your support of Platte Canyon Little League. Please stay safe and healthy!

Thank you.
